Cedar Key is a small quaint town in a group of little islands, three miles out in the Gulf of Mexico.
We are approximately two and a half hours from Jacksonville, 55 miles southwest of Gainesville, and 150 mles north of Tampa.
Cedar Key has a 24-hr lighted airstrip.
If fishing is your sport, then you havechosen the right place to go, there are plenty of fish to be found.
We are a fishermans paradise. cedar Key has beenwritten about in Florida Sportsman and many different publications around
the country. The fish are plentiful and the water is beautiful.

Cedar Key is also known for its wildlife. The islands are a haven for wildlife.The cedar Key
Scrub State Preserve is located on the island. There are many places to hike and enjoy the
nature. There are many islands to see, and some have there own private beaches. These islands can
be reached by boat. Cedar Key is rich with history and beautiful sunsets.
If nightlife is your thing, I'm sure you will be pleased with the different bands that perform here.
Cedar Key has many nice restaurants for you to sample, and the quaint shops are filled with the original
artwork from our local artists.
